CoastCanCare Appropriation
The Coastal Cruisers held its annual Jersey Presentation and Team Dinner at the Avoca Beach Hotel and Resort on Saturday 14th April.
It was a very special night and we were joined by special guests Jan, Tia and Claire from the Central Coast Can Care Wellness Centre. It was good to hear from a local charity that are trying so hard to help those battling Cancer. They offer a number of programmes to Cancer sufferers, survivors, family, friends, carers and supporters.
The evening also had enough special moment. Craig Smith, on behalf of the Tour de Rocks Charity, had the honour to announce that the Coastal Cruisers had been successful in obtaining an appropriation for the Central Coast Can Care Wellness Centre. As Craig said on the night, “This appropriation will enable the group to purchase much needed equipment for the delivery of their programmes. The Coastal Cruisers is all about doing whatever we can to help. We hope this appropriation helps and we look forward to working with the group in the future.
The entire Coastal Cruisers are proud that they have been able to secure this appropriation and look forward to securing more funds for the Central Coast Cancer Community in the future.
Once again, a big THANK YOU to all our generous Sponsors, Supporters, Family and Friend for their kind donations throughout the year. Your support is very much appreciated.
The Team’s focus now turns to the Tour de Rocks Charity Ride starting on Thursday 26th April. We wish all the Riders and Support Crew all the very best for the journey.
